Background
Dr. Stephen J. Wall is an otolaryngologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Wall is certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He practices out of Washington, D.C. ENT and Allergy Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Wall has an expertise in management of chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, sinus allergy, sleep apnea, septoplasty, cosmetic rhinoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery procedures.
Dr. Wall earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed a residency in otorhinolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Wall was awarded a predoctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health and received the Medical Student Excellence in Research Award from the American Federation for Clinical Research, as well as the Dr. Charles W. Burris History of Medicine Prize.
Dr. Wall is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Rhinologic Society and the Washington, D.C. Medical Society.
Dr. Wall has been named to the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s Guide to Top Physicians, as well as a Patient’s Choice Award winner of Washington, D.C.’s Favorite Physicians.
Dr. Wall’s research has focused on neurotransmitters involved in Alzheimer’s disease and communication pathways within tumor cells. He has contributed to paper, articles and book chapters.
