Background

Dr. Shruthi Bellapu is an infectious disease specialist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital, where she is a faculty member at the School of Medicine. Dr. Bellapu is certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She practices out of Kane and Davis Associates in Bethesda, Md.

Dr. Bellapu provides treatment for a variety of infectious diseases, such as infections of the bone and joint, prosthetic infections, mycobacterial infections, antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, surgical site infections and infections occurring in immunocompromised patients.
