Dr. Sarah B. Clauss is a pediatric cardiologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, Washington Hospital Center, Meritus Medical Center and Holy Cross Hospital. She practices out of Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Clauss has an expertise in fetal echocardiography and dyslipidemias. 

Dr. Clauss earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

Dr. Clauss is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and involved in the Joint Council on Congenital Heart Disease National Pediatric Cardiology Quality Improvement Collaborative. 

Dr. Clauss has been named a Top Doctor in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore areas by Castle Connolly, as well as a Super Doctor by the Washington Post Magazine.
