Background
Dr. Robin W. Doroshow is a pediatric cardiologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, and Georgetown University Hospital, where she is chief of the cardiology division and an associate professor of pediatrics. She is also affiliated with seven other hospitals around the Washington, D.C. area. She practices out of Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Doroshow has an expertise in fetal echocardiography, fetal cardiology and congenital heart disease.
Dr. Doroshow earned her undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in education and medical sciences at Brown University, followed by a medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, as well as a fellowship in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Doroshow also completed a research fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Boston.
Dr. Doroshow is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Doroshow has contributed to numerous publications on the topic of pediatric cardiology. She participates in medical education research to develop innovative ways to teach new doctors how to evaluate and diagnose heart disease in children.
