Background
Dr. Michael H. Phillips is a urologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital, where he serves as a clinical professor of urology and director of the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (GWUMFA) Center for Sexual Health, as well as an active participant in its Center for Pelvic Health. Dr. Phillips is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He practices out of GWUMFA in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Phillips has an expertise in sexual dysfunction incontinence in both males and females, voiding dysfunction, urologic cancers and kidney stones. He also has clinical interests in neurogenic bladder disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia and urologic prosthetics.
Dr. Phillips earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at George Washington University Hospital, as well as a fellowship in urology.
