Caring for the Community | Meet Dr. Michael Albert
Background
Michael Charles Albert, M.D., practices primary care internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) in Odenton. Dr. Albert partners closely with each of his patients to provide them with individualized, personalized care, to help them achieve their best health outcomes. He was recognized for his clinical work as a 2016 inductee into the JHCP Academy of Clinical Excellence. As a clinical leader, Dr. Albert has worked on numerous initiatives over the years to improve primary care for both patients and practitioners, and he currently serves as the Chief of Internal Medicine for JHCP. Dr. Albert has engaged in medical student and resident education throughout his career. He has partnered with numerous Johns Hopkins researchers as a co-investigator on clinically focused studies and projects and has championed the implementation of many of these projects in primary care.
He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine School of Medicine.
