Background

Dr. Grogan specializes in pediatric cardiac anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the medical staff in 2022.

She was previously an anesthesiologist with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and assistant professor of anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has also held positions with the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Grogan earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, and a residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

She completed fellowships in adult critical care medicine and cardiac anesthesiology, both at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and worked in those fields for several years. She then transitioned to pediatrics, completing fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and pediatric cardiac anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
