Pablo Celnik Receives Carolyn Braddom Ritzier Research Award

Pablo Celnik, M.D., has been selected by the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) to receive the Carolyn Braddom Ritzier Research Award. This award is presented to an individual who has conducted research that has had the most significant impact on the science and practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation. The award will be presented during the AAP Annual Meeting on February 10, 2017, and will include a plaque and a financial grant.

Dr. Celnik is the director of the Human Brain Physiology and Stimulation Laboratory. His latest research focused on studying neurological repair and motor skills in stroke patients. The study used a robotic arm and a virtual video game to train patients on improving their motor skills after a stroke.
