Make a Gift

Philanthropy has always played a crucial role in supporting The Johns Hopkins University’s tripartite mission to provide patient care, education and research. Gifts from our donors (people like you) allow us to make significant discoveries in the laboratory and apply the results in the clinic.

Some people donate to Johns Hopkins as a way of saying thank you for the care they received. Others give because they want to accelerate development of a cure or treatment regimen.

Whatever your reason, your gift — large or small — could support a specific initiative, enable us to purchase a piece of highly specialized equipment or help a researcher create the next breakthrough. Financial support from patients and friends is necessary to maintain our tradition of medical excellence. Gifts of any amount are welcome.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins includes a full complement of specialties, including expanded spine service, orthopaedic oncology, sports medicine, foot and ankle surgery, adult reconstructive surgery, trauma, pediatrics and hand surgery. World-renowned faculty members provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to manage congenital or acquired musculoskeletal malfunctions, malalignments and defects of bones, joints and associated structures.

To support the department’s work, please use our secure online portal or mail your check (payable to JHU — Orthopaedic Surgery) to:
