The Johns Hopkins Center for Dynamic Health aims to combine research, education, patient care and community activities in an effort to combat health conditions that are preventable or treatable with exercise. The funding we receive will help us:
- Collect and analyze clinical data on the results of exercise and its effects on disease prevention and treatment.
- Provide and staff a clinical space where patients can receive evidence-based exercise prescriptions to help improve their physical and psychological well-being.
- Educate medical trainees and professionals, as well as patients and the public, on the importance of exercise for health and advance the science of exercise.
- Influence community health by promoting exercise as medicine and supporting new and existing physical activity programs.
Johns Hopkins is strongly positioned to harness the research resources, clinical staff and education partners who can make our vision a reality in the communities we serve.
