The Johns Hopkins Community Hospital Physician Grand Rounds Program coordinates opportunities for faculty members to speak at Grand Rounds at medical facilities throughout Maryland and the East Coast. Those who participate find it productive and rewarding to forward the Johns Hopkins mission of education by talking to colleagues and future medical professionals about their specialty or important research and, at the same time, foster appropriate referrals to Johns Hopkins hospitals.

In the last year, the number of Grand Rounds delivered by Johns Hopkins physicians increased 77 percent.

Arrangements between the doctor and the sponsoring hospital are coordinated by Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Marketing and Communications office.

Please contact the program if you are interested in speaking within Maryland or out of state. Travel expenses may be covered by the hosting institution, which sometimes also offers an honorarium.
