The Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing (IJHN) is the central point for coordinating and supporting international activities for Hopkins Nursing. We ensure that Hopkins Nursing’s excellence in clinical practice, leadership, and education benefits international professionals (and vice versa) through our consulting and custom programs.

We arrange visits for individuals and groups who want to learn more about our nursing practice and organization. We host clinicians, educators, and nurse leaders from around the globe. ANCC’s Magnet designation is the highest and most prestigious credential a healthcare organization can achieve for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The Johns Hopkins Department of Nursing will host appraisers from the Magnet Recognition Program from April 30 through May 3, 2018.
