Workshop for Children of Wounded Warriors
Date: November 1, 2016

A NEW EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, aimed at children of wounded warrior amputees, will help children gain a deeper understanding of their loved one’s healing process while learning science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) topics.
Most of all, the interactive workshop, which will utilize high-tech virtual reality simulations and includes a capstone game competition, promises to be lots of fun.
The STEM workshop, open to children in middle and high school, will be offered in March and April in the Washington DC or Baltimore metropolitan area.
