Despite running a day shorter than last year’s event, the 24th annual MIX 106.5 Radiothon benefitting the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center raised $871,630 over two days, on Feb. 28 and March 1, bringing the total raised to date to nearly $16 million. Funds will support pediatric patient care and research. Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Director George Dover said the radiothon was a testament “not only to the incredible generosity of MIX’s listeners but also to the talented DJs who were able to capture beautifully and powerfully the true essence of Hopkins and the stories of the children we treat.” Those who wish may still pledge their support.
