Peak Named Director of Major Gifts at Howard County General Hospital’s Howard Hospital Foundation
Howard County General Hospital announces the appointment of Donesha Peak as director of major gifts for the Howard Hospital Foundation.
Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine announces the appointment of Donesha Peak as director of major gifts for the Howard Hospital Foundation. As such, she will be responsible for identification, cultivation and solicitation of individual major gifts, principal gifts and planned gifts.
“Donesha has a very strong fundraising background and we are delighted to welcome her to our team,” said Elizabeth Edsall Kromm, Ph.D., MSc, vice president of Population Health and Advancement. “Now more than ever, the hospital needs philanthropic support. As a non-profit facility, it is critical that we have the funding necessary to meet the future health care needs of the community, especially as we work to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Peak most recently served as the director of special gifts for Thomas Jefferson University in East Falls, Pennsylvania. She has previously worked in gift planning at Temple University in Philadelphia and the Cleveland Clinic.
Peak received a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University. She also received her law degree from Cleveland State University and is working toward an executive doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania.
