six months in covid 19

As we near the 6-month mark of the first confirmed COVID-19 case in the US, life as we know it has changed. Social distancing, face coverings and contact tracing are now part of the new normal. The rate of infections is beginning to slow down and we are seeing early signs of recovery as businesses, public areas and more take the necessary steps to reopen. Yet, every day new questions arise about how to help keep people healthy, reduce exposures to COVID-19, and slow the spread of the disease in the midst of protests, demonstrations and unrest for the victims of oppression and racism.

Join us for a media briefing where Johns Hopkins experts will discuss what we have learned from the pandemic, what we are experiencing now in clinic and society, and how it will inform how we continue to move forward.
