WHAT: Nurses play a vital role in patient care and health outcomes. However, a national nursing shortage has made the demand for nurses greater than ever. Nursing is one of the fastest growing occupations in today’s job market, and it offers many options and opportunities.

For the first time, all 10 Johns Hopkins Health System entities — spanning Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; and Florida — are coming together to host a Johns Hopkins-wide nursing job fair. Job fair attendees will have the chance to learn about the full range of nursing careers across the health system — from trauma care to outpatient, from positions at the bedside to home care to office settings, adult and pediatric specialties — and speak directly with nurse recruiters from each of the entities.
