Caring Collection Goal to Hit 1 Million

Caring Collection Goal to Hit $1 Million Help the Caring Collection, Inc. reach their goal this year to raise $1 million to donate to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and other institutions to purchase and update cancer research equipment.

The all-volunteer group creates beautiful limited edition stained-glass angels and suncatchers starting at just $15. The Caring Collection, Inc. donates 60-80 percent of its gross revenue annually to Anne Arundel Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Only the cost of materials is deducted from the sales. You may purchase individual gifts, corporate gifts or make tax-deductive donations.

The Caring Collection studio is located in Annapolis and is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am- 5 pm. Please call for an appointment to visit Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Orders can also be made on their website at www.caringcollection.org. From 1983 to 2008, the Caring Collection, Inc. has been making stained glass angels and selling them to donate the money to purchase cancer research equipment, specifically research laboratory microscopes, specialized computers and immobilization devices for radiotherapy, breast imaging devices and laryngoscopes.

Over the past 26 years, they have donated $775, 000.
