U.S. News & World Report Releases Its 2022–23 Best Hospitals List

The 2022–23 U.S. News & World Report  Best Hospitals rankings are in, and The Johns Hopkins Hospital is ranked #5 in the nation — marking 33 consecutive years of placing in the top 5. This year, the hospital is also nationally ranked in every specialty that U.S. News reviewed. In addition, The Johns Hopkins Hospital is ranked #1 in both Maryland and the Baltimore metropolitan region.

Several of our hospitals received specific recognition for the provision of care within the regions they serve. The Johns Hopkins Hospital ranked #1 in all 15 medical specialties in both Maryland and Baltimore. Suburban Hospital ranked #7 for best hospitals in Maryland. Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital tied for #7 in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region. Learn more.
