Jumana Alshaikh, MD completed medical school in her home country of Saudi Arabia followed by her neurology residency at University of Chicago. During her time at University of Chicago she completed a clinical ethics fellowship at the McLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics, and served as a member of the GME committee, resident advisory council, and the GME wellness committee. Additionally, Dr. Alshaikh serves as a peer reviewer for the resident and fellow section of Neurology. Her career interests include DBS, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuroethics. Outside of work Dr. Alshaikh enjoys trying new ethnic restaurants, taking long walks in the city, and travelling.
Maitreyi Murthy, MD, MPhil is a graduate of Sri Siddhartha Medical College in India. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Murthy served 3 years as a medical officer for a community health project as part of a global Tuberculosis Vaccine trial, earning a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Bergen (Norway) based on her thesis and research. She subsequently came to the United States where she completed her Neurology residency training at the University of Arizona (2016-17) and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (2017-19). Dr. Murthy's current interests include Atypical Parkinsonism, cognitive and behavioral aspects of Movement Disorders, and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and touring national parks. She also likes to explore small towns and delve into their culture and history.

Ashley Paul, MD receied her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Neurology at Wright State University.
