Sandra Ramsburg, R.N., B.S.N.
Sandra Ramsburg is the nurse coordinator of the Pituitary Center at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She works closely with the medical director to review patients' medical information and evaluate and anticipate their needs for endocrinology, neurosurgery and neuro-ophthalmology appointments. She also provides patients with vital discharge counseling after pituitary surgery to communicate expectations and to address any issues or concerns.
Mrs. Ramsburg received a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from Towson University. In over 30 years of service as a nurse, she has been dedicated to focusing on patient care in many different areas; from providing hands-on inpatient care in the Department of Medicine, PACU for the Cardiology / Radiology Laboratory, and Dermatology Clinic to coordinating patient procedures and triaging patient issues in the Interventional Radiology Department at Johns Hopkins. She developed and maintained an extensive guideline reference for procedure scheduling during her time in Interventional Radiology, trained as an EPIC super-user, and oversaw chart audits and Core Competencies for the unit.
Mrs. Ramsburg attends clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center at the downtown Baltimore location.
