Getting Around Hopkins

Dining at The Johns Hopkins Hospital

Florist

The Flower Cart is located just off the main hospital lobby. In addition to fresh flowers, the Flower Cart sells plants, silk floral arrangements, balloons, and fruit and snack baskets. Because many of the Kimmel Cancer Center patients have lowered immune systems due to the treatments they take, fresh flowers may not be permitted on the inpatient units. Please be sure to ask your nurse or physician if you or a family member has any questions regarding this policy.

The Flower Cart operates Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m. Deliveries to patient's rooms, or wire services from around the world, are available. Call (410) 955-6822.

Gift Shops

The Women's Board of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, operates two gift shops on campus. One shop is located off the main lobby of the hospital and a second shop is located adjacent to the Coffee Shop on the 1st floor of the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center. Each store sells magazines and books, a wide selection of cards, clothing, gifts, toys, and snack foods. Proceeds from sales are used by the Women's Board to purchase equipment and fund projects for the hospital.

Main hospital: Open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
