Johns Hopkins announces a $125 million philanthropic investment that will establish the Bloomberg~Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Sidney Kimmel, founder and chairman of Jones Apparel Group, donated $150 million for cancer research and patient care—which was the largest single gift ever to the Johns Hopkins University at that time.
