Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Green Spring Station

The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center’s Medical Oncology practice at Green Spring Station in Lutherville, Maryland, opened its doors in a brand new, spacious facility on June 3, 2019. Located on the first floor of Pavilion III, the practice features programs in breast cancer, lymphoma, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, gastrointestinal cancers and genitourinary cancers.

With private exam rooms, modern infusion bays, imaging, pharmacy and lab services, the practice is designed to provide an optimal cancer care patient experience. The practice is directed by Dr. William Sharfman who holds The Mary Jo Rogers Professorship in Cancer Immunology and Melanoma Research. His areas of clinical expertise include cutaneous oncology, dermatology, gastrointestinal cancers and immunotherapy. He helped create the well-established Melanoma Program at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in 1994. Dr. Sharfman serves as the director of the cutaneous oncology and clinical co-director for oncology at the Johns Hopkins Melanoma Program.

Sandra Bailey serves as the manager for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center’s Medical Oncology practice at Green Spring Station.

Medical and Radiation Oncology services include on-site facilities for chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments. The convenience of our Green Spring Station suite, as well as the simple check-in procedures and free parking, are added benefits for patients seeking easy access to Johns Hopkins-quality cancer care.
 
Cancer Consultations and Second Opinions
If you are a cancer patient looking for a specialist to consult with regarding your treatment, our experienced medical and radiation oncology faculty can evaluate your condition and discuss your concerns and needs. Your doctor, along with a team of medical experts and specially-trained nurses, will help you make decisions about your treatment and coordinate a plan for your care. If your care involves tests or procedures, your doctor or nurse will arrange for these services. Many clinical and support services are available, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammography, ultrasound and routine diagnostic blood and chemistry procedures.
