Patient Information
Patients and families who cope with cancer face many challenges. We believe that the more our patients know about their cancer and its treatment, the more equipped they are to participate actively in their care. We have created many services and programs to help cancer patients and their families.
Treatment of Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcomas
Johns Hopkins surgeon Carol Morris discusses the management of sarcomas. There are about 12,000 cases of sarcoma per year in U.S. and these cancers can affect both children and adults. Because of their rarity, it is important that patients and their families have access to specialized teams with experience in these cancers, such as Johns Hopkins.
We are committed to communicating your treatment plan with your primary care or referring physician while you are receiving care at Johns Hopkins.
