Training Health Disparity Researchers
The primary aim of the Center to Reduce Cancer Disparity's training program is to increase the number of well-trained researchers who are interested in addressing health disparities related to cancer and teach them how to engage communities. The program recruits, mentors and creates funding opportunities for qualified graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty. The Center also provides training to high school and college students on cancer disparities and community-based research, acts as a hosting site for other Johns Hopkins training programs.
