Johns Hopkins Children's Center Kidney Space App

A Facebook health app for kidney patients, transplant recipients, living donors, and people who care for them.

 

What is Kidney Space?

Kidney Space is a Facebook-integrated health app designed to support and inform kidney patients, transplant recipients, living donors, and people who care for them. Kidney Space connects patients, caregivers and experts, and offers members the opportunity to take part in online community forums, receive expert curated news, and make connections to ongoing research.

How can I participate?

In order to sign up for KidneySpace, you must have a personal Facebook account. There is currently no mobile version for KidneySpace, but a mobile release is planned.

Once you sign up for Kidney Space, you will be logged in to the application each time you access your personal Facebook page. You can check for updates such as new stories about your disease, responses to your posts and notifications about research. You can also track and view your labs over time in this space.
