Physician Integration Office

We provide the framework that physicians need to deliver the best care to patients in their own communities. In doing so, physicians maintain clinical autonomy in small working groups, which we call Pods, while benefiting from alignment with Johns Hopkins Health System

What does it look like to align with Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians?

By joining Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, you become part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine family and benefit from renowned faculty, practices, and robust Johns Hopkins Medicine infrastructure. 2020 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Physician of the Year

2020 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Physician of the Year

Mark Landrum, MD, Board Member of JHRP, Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center and physician leader for epidemiology and infection prevention for the Johns Hopkins community hospitals, was awarded the 2020 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards Physician of the Year for Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Considered a world-class infectious disease physician, Mark Landrum possesses clinical acumen, patient centeredness and collegiality in equal measure, according to his colleagues. He collaborates well with team members when consulting on patients, and advocates for the best patient care initiatives possible. Perhaps most importantly, Landrum’s forethought about the COVID-19 pandemic is the reason Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center was well-prepared to handle the crisis. He started warning about the virus well before it arrived in the United States, and advised that we develop plans to deal with it far ahead of time. Thanks to him, the hospital did.
