Programs and Centers

As an extension of the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, the Harriet Lane Clinic and Rales Center offer comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to children and youth (ages 0 to 21 years). Our physician faculty members, nurses, nutritionists and others specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children and offer a wide range of services, including:

  • General health care and check-ups including immunizations
  • Assessment and treatment of behavior & development problems
  • Psychosocial support through child life and social work services
  • Nutrition and breast feeding support services
  • Parenting information
  • Adolescent specialty services including gynecologic services and family planning
  • Linkage to school and community programs and referrals for specialty care
  • Assistance in finding high quality child care and early learning programs through the Maryland State Department of Education's Maryland EXCELS program

Bayview Pediatric Practice

Special Services and Programs include:

  • CAP Program for drug-dependent pregnant women
  • Community Care-a-Van providing acute and preventive services to underserved populations in the community
