Our Procedures
We have compiled information on some common procedures to help children and parents better understand what will take place before, during and after the procedure. Knowing what will happen ahead of time can help to increase the comfort level of both parent and patient.
These procedures are scheduled through your gastroenterology provider.
We offer the following procedures:
- Endoscopy
- Fecal microbial transplantation
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
- Enteral access: percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, gastrojejunal tube placement
- Therapeutic endoscopy: esophageal dilatation, control of variceal bleeding — sclerotherapy, banding; polypectomy, foreign body removal
- Intraesophageal pH monitoring: pH probe, Bravo pH
- Impedance testing
- Capsule endoscopy
- Rectal suction biopsy
- Percutaneous liver biopsy
