Fetal Program

Child listens to mom's belly for baby's heartbeat

The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Fetal Program provides compassionate, multidisciplinary care for pregnant women whose fetuses have been diagnosed with an anomaly. Our experts are at the forefront of fetal diagnosis and therapy. We offer treatment in the womb and participate in research to find the next revolutionary fetal therapy.

At the Children’s Center Fetal Program, your baby’s condition and ongoing treatment will be communicated across disciplines from the moment of diagnosis. Our multidisciplinary approach allows for an unprecedented level of seamless and thoughtful care, from diagnosis in the womb to the delivery room, the neonatal intensive care unit, our state-of-the-art pediatric center and beyond.

Our multidisciplinary program includes the Johns Hopkins Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Center for Fetal Therapy and the Johns Hopkins Fetal Cardiac Program. We are also members of the North American Fetal Therapy Network and participate in multiple single center and multicenter trials.
