From chest pain to cardiac transplant, our clinical faculty and staff are trained to diagnose and treat a spectrum of cardiac conditions that may be affecting your child. Considered the birthplace of pediatric cardiology, the Helen B. Taussig Congenital Heart Center provides full cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery services. They’re also experts in genetic cardiac diseases, non-invasive testing and evaluation and treatment of children and families with lipid disorders.

As the birthplace of pediatric medicine and the historic “blue baby” operation, the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Helen B. Taussig Congenital Heart Center treats all cardiology conditions from fetal through adult.

The Blalock-Taussig Pediatric Heart Team includes specialists from Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and Pediatric Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
