Dr. Golden is an assistant professor in the Division of Neonatology. He is associate director of the medical student pediatric clerkship and is actively engaged in curriculum development for the School of Medicine. He also is the medical director of the Full Term Nursery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. His research interests in pediatric education include teaching medical students how to deliver difficult news to parents or expectant parents. Additionally, he has an interest in neonatal infections, and has active research projects focused on syphilis and herpes simplex virus infections in newborn.

Associate Clerkship Director: Amit Pahwa, M.D.
Dr. Pahwa is an assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics. He spends his clinical time as a hospitalist on the adult and pediatric words. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed a residency in med-peds at Indiana University. During his residency, he developed curriculum for medical students on the Pediatrics Clerkship. In addition to his role as associate clerkship director, he is director of TIME: High Value Health Care, the health policy strand and the Advanced Clerkship in Internal Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. His research focuses on assessment of educational methods and value-based quality improvement.
