What are fellows’ clinical responsibilities like?

Physician fellows have two half-day clinic sessions per week. There is no inpatient clinical responsibility. Fellows are welcome to moonlight on their own time to do inpatient work.

What is the salary?

Fellows are compensated based on National Institutes of Health stipend guidelines for their level of training and experience. Fellows can supplement this income by moonlighting, and, in some cases, by applying for loan repayment from the NIH.

When should I apply?

Application deadlines are rolling. Typically, we begin to receive applications as early as July for the following July 1st fellowship. We encourage applicants to submit their applications by the end of October for fullest consideration.

Where do your fellows go after graduation?

The majority of our fellows go on to positions in academia or positions in health policy.
