Methods of Payment

For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment. If you are paying by credit card or wire transfer, we recommend that you leave the account that you are using open until you have received your final statement.
  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card) 
  • Certified checks
  • Cash
  • Wire transfers

To make a payment by credit card: 

If we already have your credit card on file, you can contact your international financial coordinator to authorize the charge or call 410-525-5497  to provide a new credit card.

To make a payment by wire transfer, please access our wire payment portal.

To make a payment by check: 

We accept traveler’s checks and cashier’s checks. We do not accept personal checks. Please include patient name and medical record number (MRN) as the reference. Please make payable to Johns Hopkins Medicine International and mail to Johns Hopkins Medicine International Patient Financial Services at:

To make a payment by cash: 

Please do not mail cash. We will be happy to accept you cash payment in person.
