Susan Dr. Kulik joined Johns Hopkins Medicine International in 2014 as director of accreditation and regulatory affairs to provide opportunities to improve international health care through the application of accreditation standards. She supports our international affiliates’ pursuit and maintenance of accreditation through consulting and educational activities. 

A career highlight is her contribution to the implementation of evidence-based nursing in China. She was an invited speaker for the Johns Hopkins High-level Level Evidence-based Based Training Program sponsored by Beijing’s IMD Marketing Consulting Company and the Chinese Hospital Association (held in Beijing in 2012 and 2015). She also spoke at the evidence-based practice symposium and grand Grand rounds Rounds for the Chengdu Health Bureau in Chengdu, China.

Dr. Kulik was formerly the coordinator for surgical nursing programs at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She coordinated nursing programs, projects and initiatives, and served as a consultant to other nursing and hospital departments. She previously held the position of nurse manager for the orthopaedic/trauma unit and was instrumental in moving the unit to its new clinical space in the Sheikh Zayed towerTower. 

She completed her master’s degree in 2006 and her doctorate of nursing practice in 2012, both at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She is an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington University.
