103.12 Organization Policy on Human Subjects Research Compliance Training

Human Subjects Research Compliance Initial and Recertification Training is required for all principal investigators (who conduct research on human participants) and their research staff, the IRB Chairs, Co-Chairs, members, management, and staff.
Effective March 1, 2016, PIs are required to recertify in human subjects research training every three years.
Effective January 1, 2016, research staff, IRB Chairs, Co-Chairs, members, management and staff will be required to recertify in human subjects research every three years. For those IRB Chairs, Co-Chairs and members who are also principal investigators, the principal investigator recertification requirement will supersede any additional IRB recertification requirement.
