The Meyerhoff Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center
The Meyerhoff Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center is a part of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and is committed to improving the health of people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Our multidisciplinary team – which includes expert gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, surgeons, and dieticians/nutritionists – provides the best diagnosis and treatment of IBD from mild to severe disease.
We have a dynamic research program from clinical investigations of novel drug therapies to cutting-edge investigations to identify the environmental and genetic causes of IBD, to develop markers to better diagnose and manage IBD, and to unravel the mechanisms behind these frequently debilitating diseases.
As a regional, national and international referral center, our specialists will work with your doctors to provide an accurate diagnosis with the highest level of treatment and patient care possible. We also encourage self-referrals and can also provide on-going gastrointestinal care.
If you or a loved one suffers from inflammatory bowel disease, request an appointment at the Meyerhoff Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center and our specialists can get you on the road to recovery.
