Angela Chang Chiu

Angela Chang Chiu, M.S., B.S.N., R.N., C.H.E.S.

Senior Clinical Nurse

Angela is a board-certified registered nurse and certified health education specialist. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in community health with a specific focus in minority health from the University of Arkansas. Angela came to our team trained as a critical care nurse and has extensive experience in health promotion services, patient education and trainee instruction. Angela uses her background and clinical training to advance international health initiatives within the Johns Hopkins Health System and serves as the international patient care liaison with Johns Hopkins Medicine International Patient Services. Angela is fluent in five languages and certified in health interpretation.

Leah Lewis-Garber

Leah Lewis-Garber, M.S., R.N.

Senior Clinical IBD Nurse

Leah is a board-certified registered nurse with a master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader Program. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Leah joined our team with a background in emergency medicine case management, and is a certified Spanish medical interpreter. She serves as senior clinical nurse in our Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, and works directly with patients in our infusion centers at Green Spring Station and Knoll North.

Elisheva (Ellie) Weiser

Elisheva (Ellie) Weiser, M.S.N., R.N., P.C.C.N.

Ellie is a board-certified registered nurse with a master’s degree in nursing from Stevenson University, with a concentration in health leadership and management. Ellie earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Maryland. Ellie worked as a cardiac nurse prior to her current position as a clinical nurse in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Johns Hopkins. She also works directly with patients in the clinic’s infusion centers.
