Insurance and Billing

patient with doc

Insurance can be complicated. Our dedicated staff members can help. We will contact your insurance company and provide pre-authorization assistance. Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging participates with most insurance companies.

After you schedule an exam, our staff will contact your health insurance company to begin the authorization process. We will contact you if there are any questions or concerns during this process.

If your services are covered, we will submit a claim to your insurance company on your behalf.

You will receive a statement for any co-insurance from our Billing Department. If you have a co-payment for radiology services, it will be collected at the time of service.

Billing Questions

For any billing questions, please call the Johns Hopkins Physicians Billing Service for assistance at 1-855-662-3017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
