Rossi Named HCGH Perioperative Services Director

Columbia, MD – Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine (HCGH) proudly announces the appointment of Sharon Rossi, RNC, MS, to Senior Director of Perioperative Services. Rossi brings a wealth of experience to the position, having previously served as director of patient care at another local hospital.

Rossi received both her bachelor of science in nursing and her master of science in nursing administration from the University of Maryland and has lectured nationally on leadership development, peer review and the chemically impaired nurse. Additionally, she has published several patient safety articles/posters. 

Rossi is a certified RN and a member of AORN (Association of Perioperative Nurses), ASPAN (American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses), AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), MONE (Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives) and is a member of the March of Dimes planning services committee.
