Hadsell Named Senior Vice President at Howard County General Hospital


Columbia, MD – Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon P. Hadsell, RN, MSN, CNA, BC, to Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services. As such, she is responsible for all inpatient nursing units as well as Emergency Services, Women’s and Children’s Services, Ancillary Services, clinical education, and patient care staffing and operations.

Hadsell brings extensive nursing experience to her new position. In additional to her clinical expertise, she is especially skilled in team building, clinical operations, and development and implementation of new programs. Hadsell comes to Howard County General Hospital from Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, where she served as director of Clinical Support Services.

Hadsell holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southern Illinois University, and a master’s of science degree in nursing from Loyola University of Chicago. She is a clinical nurse specialist by degree and certified in Nursing Administration.
