Johnson Conway highlighted as “Rising Star” by Becker’s Hospital Review, “40 Under 40” by Baltimore Business Journal and Carol Emmett Fellow
Dr. Johnson Conway has been recently recognized for her efforts to lead the transition of one of Hopkins’ largest primary care sites in East Baltimore to a federally qualified health center. She serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Johns Hopkins Clinical Alliance and Senior Medical Director for Physician Alignment and Integration. Becker’s Hospital named her one of its “healthcare leaders to know” and Baltimore Business Journal highlighted her as “40 Under 40 in Healthcare” - a rising star in the field of value-based care. The High-Value Practice Academic Alliance (HVPAA) awarded her the Cost of Care Affordability Award for her abstract entitled “Academic Medical Center and Federally Qualified Health Centers: Collaboration to Enhance Care of Underserved Communities" which she presented at the 2022 national conference.
After graduating cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Economics, Dr. Johnson Conway worked as an investment banking analyst before completing a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania followed by M.D. from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Following residency, she served as the inaugural Johns Hopkins Medicine Health Systems Management Fellow and now the Program Director for this fellowship.
