Clinical Rotations at Johns Hopkins
Clinical Rotations follow COCATS Guidelines. Learn more about our clinical rotations:
Procedural Rotations
- Cardiac Catheterization: 4 months
- Electrophysiology: 2 months
Total Multimodality Imaging
Total duration for rotation is 7 to 9 months.
- Nuclear Cardiology/PET: 2 months
- CCT/MRI: 1 month
- Echocardiography: 3 to 6 months
Inpatient Services
- Cardiac Critical Care: 3 to 4 months
- Heart Failure: 6 weeks
- General Cardiology: 2 to 3 months
- Cardiology Consults: 6 weeks
Outpatient Rotations
- Adult Congenital Heart Disease: 1 month
- Vascular Medicine: 1 month
- Preventive Cardiology: 1 month
Electives
- Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit
- CardioObstetrics/Women’s Health
- Congenital Echocardiography
- Structural Heart Disease Clinic
- Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic
Continuity Clinic
The Continuity Clinic is weekly for three years.
Total of a minimum of 24 clinical months are required for board certification
