The Welch Center  25 Years of Promoting Health and Preventing Disease
In 1989, the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research was established as an academic bridge between the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Bloomberg School of Public Health to conduct clinical, epidemiologic, and translational research of the highest quality. The Welch Center showcases how successful interdisciplinary collaboration leads to landmark research studies, as well as meaningful community and policy innovations.
