Research at the Pancreatitis Center

The Pancreatitis Center conducts research that will lead to an improved understanding of pancreatitis and ultimately, treatments that will improve patients’ lives. The center’s research interests include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the natural history of chronic pancreatitis
  • Identifying novel imaging techniques to diagnose chronic pancreatitis and to assess pancreatic function reserve
  • Management of pseudocysts
  • Management of chronic pancreatitis pain
  • Identification and management of autoimmune pancreatitis
