This collaborative, collegial and productive clinical, educational and research program is designed to provide advanced clinical training in thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology

Head and neck surgical oncology fellows will have a faculty appointment at the instructor level that includes a mentored experience focused on a transition to independence. In particular, fellows develop skills in clinical teaching within the context of our residency program. During the clinical year, fellows will participate in clinical and surgical care of patients within the faculty practices, but will also have an individual, mentored clinical surgical practice.

Fellowship in Laryngology

Johns Hopkins’ laryngology fellowship is a one-year program designed to provide a comprehensive training experience to prepare participants for a career in academic laryngology. As they gain experience, fellows will assume graduated responsibility for an independent clinic and surgical caseload. It is expected that fellows will participate in resident teaching and attend laryngology case conferences, make educational presentations within the department and participate in clinical research within the division.

Neurotology Fellowship

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is pleased to offer a two year fellowship in neurotology. The primary goal of our training program is to produce a clinician-investigator with sufficient technical and experimental design skills to independently initiate a program of clinical service and research as an academician in Neurotology.
