The Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity is structured to offer systematic oversight and focused leadership on addressing the specific opportunities for improving our diversity and inclusion efforts within the school of medicine. In 2020, we appointed Robert “Bob” Higgins, surgeon-in-chief at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and director of the Department of Surgery, as the senior associate dean of diversity and inclusion. We also appointed Shellon Johnson, as the school of medicine program manager.
We are committed to addressing your concerns and want to share the appropriate points of contacts in our office for diversity and inclusion matters.
