NIDDK Medical Student Research Program

Each summer, The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland host a cadre of medical students from across the country with support from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. Each student works with a faculty mentor and engages in a summer research project, with the goal of inspiring and engaging the next generation of physicians in diabetes research.
