Phone Service Update

We are experiencing extremely high call volume related to COVID-19 vaccine interest. Please understand that our phone lines must be clear for people with urgent and acute medical care needs. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to accept phone calls to schedule COVID-19 vaccinations at this time. When this changes, we will update this web site. Read more COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Message from our Chairman

Dr. Sewon Kang

The Department of Dermatology is undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion.  We continue to offer a full spectrum of clinical care for patients of all ages in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, and we have multiple locations in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  metro areas to serve our patients.  In addition to treating general dermatologic conditions, our faculty offer expertise in difficult-to-diagnose complex skin diseases.

In the tradition of Johns Hopkins Medicine, our faculty members are involved in both bench and clinical research focusing on conditions which affect the skin.  Our training programs include medical student clerkships, a three-year and a four-year (NIH T-32) residency training programs, and fellowships in dermatology, Dermatopathology and other specialties.

We welcome you to the Department of Dermatology and look forward to serving you.

Sewon Kang, MD
